What stands out: Casino de Spa is a land-based casino without a Belgian licence. That is why, this is a solid but not spectacular choice.

The payment story in Belgium is quickly told: the stake goes in through Bancontact, card or app, and you withdraw by bank transfer. Since March 2026 the Payconiq by Bancontact app is officially called Bancontact Pay. Bancontact is the national standard and therefore everywhere, with a minimum deposit that usually sits at €5.
The Bancontact Pay ceilings are €1500 per transaction and €2500 per day. The money is available at once; withdrawing takes as a rule one to three banking days, and the operator adds its own check on top.

Limits, age and EPIS
Player protection in Belgium is arranged above the European average in strictness and you notice it at signup. Every licensed site applies a default deposit limit of €200 per week. Adjusting downwards works right away, raising happens neither easily nor instantly.
Self-exclusion in Belgium is handled centrally, through EPIS: whoever registers is barred everywhere immediately, online as well as offline. The request goes through the regulator itself. Under-21s have been shut out of casino, hall and betting since September 2024; the National Lottery is the exception at 18. Without valid ID you do not get through.
Short answers to recurring questions

No — gambling winnings fall outside personal income tax. No declaration is therefore needed. Nothing about that rule changes in 2026.
Check which games count: slots often 100%, table games sometimes 10% or nothing at all. Check whether your game counts before you start. Without converting to euros a percentage says nothing.
€200 per week per site by default. Lowering it is immediate; raising it needs a check and a delay. You set it in your account settings. At unlicensed sites that protection does not exist.
Through the Gaming Commission's EPIS system. One registration excludes you from every licensed operator, online and on-site. It is the strongest brake Belgium offers. The exclusion cannot be undone straight away.
